A Texas Poetry Anthology Seeking Submissions

Mutabilis Press is seeking poetry for publication in an anthology of poets living in Texas.

Guest editor is poet Randall Watson, author of The Sleep Accusations (Eastern Washington University Press) which received the 2004 Blue Lynx Poetry Award. He currently teaches creative writing at the University of Houston, Houston Community College, and Inprint.

We are looking for informed, well-crafted and imaginative poems with vivid imagery and fresh ideas. This book will be perfect-bound and similar in design to our previous books, TimeSlice: Houston Poetry 2005, and Five Inprint Poets.

Submit 3 poems, not to exceed 5 pages total, (four copies of each poem), with no identifying information. Include a No. 10 SASE for notification. No simultaneous or email submissions. Include a $10.00 reading fee made payable to Mutabilis Press.

On a separate page include name, address, email address, a brief biography (50 words), and the titles of your work.

Previously published work is acceptable if the rights have reverted back to the author.

Copyrights revert to the author upon publication.

Manuscripts will not be returned. Payment in one copy.

Deadline: May 15, 2007
Publication: November 2007
