Poems Flow on the Webz with TextFlows

Yesterday while browsing the Poets.org website, I noticed a new project they're sponsoring called Poem Flow. I knew it wouldn't be too long before poets began embracing mobile technology to share their poetry with the world. Poem Flow utilizes a great piece of software called TextFlows.

According to their website, "We offer an entirely new way to interact with the written word. We use motion and light to present text as an animated flow on a simple, uncluttered screen. Reading becomes easier, more effective, and fun; writing receives an added dimension of artistic expression."

Currently, the software isn't open to everyone yet but we will be able to create our own flows using their flow composer very soon. In the meantime, you can check out some copyright free flows which include poem flows by Barack Obama, John Berryman, Emily Dickinson and more.

Also, be sure to check out the Poem Flow iphone app and Billy Collin's poem flow below.
