Walden: The Video Game

Electronic Arts is working on Dante's Inferno, a video game version of the Divine Comedy. (You can watch the trailer here.) It actually looks pretty amazing and the gameplay looks similiar to God of War. Now, it seems another literary classic will be given the made-into-videogame treatment, Henry David Thoreau's Walden. Led by USC associate professor and influential video game educator/designer Tracy Fullerton,"Walden: The Game" seems to be in the early stages of delevopment.

I wonder what other literary works would make good video games. Perhaps, Hamlet or Beowulf.

You can read more about this at Kotaku.
